OxEon Energy presents at the 17th Carbon Dioxide Utilisation Summit in Brussels on October 28, discussing "Oxygen for Propulsion from Mars Atmosphere CO2" and the successful application and scaling of solid oxide electrolysis for ISRU fuel production.

Idaho National Laboratory's Frost teamed with OxEon co-founders Dr. Elangovan and Joseph Hartvigsen—collaborators since the late '90s—to commercialize solid oxide technology. Their process converts anaerobic digester gas into methane and CO2, then produces synthetic diesel from hydrogen and CO.

OxEon's 5 kW solid oxide electrolysis stack exceeded performance expectations by over 10% at an Idaho customer site, prompting interest in an additional 20 kW purchase and validating the technology.
